Just go this at an estate sale -- many tools from a woodworker. The Cylinder is about 2" long and 9/16" in diameter. As you can see, the bolt part will slide up and down inside the cylinder and the two outside prongs on the other end move with it. The rectangular center prong doesn't move in relation to the cylinder. Turning the wing nut then pulls the two outside prongs back, as if to extract something. Anyone know what this is for?
