hi all, got a fire place hearth that was built after dividing wall was taken down, but the floor was not levelled so a row of tiles are not level ( about 4-5mm raised) I've take 2 rows of quarry tiles up and they were bedded down on cement, question is is there a multi tool blade that removes cement well, I have tried "Verater 5 X Oscillating Multi Tool Diamond Coated Cutting Saw Blade Grout Mortar" but they blunted very quickly, Don't want to use a grinder because of the dust (even with dust cover & vacuum)
I'm only removing about 8 x 150mm quarry tiles, so its not a big space but its a fair bit of cement flooring that needs to be removed before reinstalling the quarry tiles, don't want to use hammer and chiesl in case it loosens other tiles
photo is of the blades i was using

Concrete Grinder. Collects dust..
£60 for a day's hire.

Only other way is to drill lots of holes and masonry chisel.
Lot of manual work though hammering.

You can also use Heller SDS rake chisel £28 in a SDS with chiselling/chasing function £60.
Still not a great way to do especially if tooth snaps.

These days I can't struggle and just hire the kit and get it done.

Multi tool won't work. Wrong tool...
