What prep to do before using Self-Leveling compound?

I have a few very small area in the kitchen flooring that needs to be levelled off before placing back the laminate flooring which has movement under it (2mm max to feather)

Flooring is tile on a cement floor.

Im planning on using either

What prep do i need to do to the floor to make these products most effectively.
Watered down PVA glue?

Yes but be aware, most SLC don't feather properly, min thickness is about 3mm. For a divot like that tile cement might be best, or car body filler
