Hi, I have some cracks in the inner leaf of a brick wall, I have been advised to use bat straps 1m x 5 x30mm to stabilise them.
I wondered what the best type of screw/ plug I should use and how many?
Or are resin fixings better than wall plugs for this?

Thanks

Never heard of straps used to stabilise cracking.
More inclined to use helibars.

Don't see why your idea would not work just never used or seen it specified before.

Brown plugs and 4 or 5mm screws.

But you should determine the cause first and deal with that.
