What screws

Hello All
What screws should I use for screwing reclaimed pine boards to the floor joists.
how about these

also know of any good tape for sticking timbermate together the shop had none.
waterproof tape would help??

Those screws will be fine - personally I use 5 x 55 Spax but thats my preference...... I'd certainly be using a power driver though!
Will duck tape do for your timbermate?

They'll do fine too!
The more difficult task is to tightly butt the boards up together before fixing down...there are special clamps for this, but we usually get by with using two tapered lengths of timber which, when forced together, exert a massive pressure on the side of the floor boards.

hmmmmmmm now how far should i push them together bearing in mind its summer and the pine will want to slightly move when we get wetter weather?
