What Sealant?

Some of the brown sealant around my windows is coming away from the wall.

Looking around I notice that exterior frame sealant seems to come in silicon and acrylic variants. Which should I be using and for what?

Acrylic is water based so no good externally, silicone based sealant is for outdoors and for frame to brick use low modulus neutral cure or LMN for short

Polysulphide sealant is best, in my opinion, because of weathering and movement properties, however it's known to be difficult to tool. I've seen operators with a bottle of water on their tool belt into which they dip a chisel like tapering stick to achieve uniformity round windows...pinenot
