What size mcb for garden socket

Yes it is earthed to the tag on the gland.

So at each end you have run a flylead from the tag to earth?

The colours weren't the standard ones so I've got some heat shrink for it.

What colours were they?

Which colour did you use for which?

The cable goes under ground and comes out in a wall. (The garden steps down) I laid it when we started the kitchen extension while I had the chance.

How deep?

Laid in what?

Any warning tape or cable covers?

Also, OOI, how long is it?

I haven't connected the ends yet as I need to get the mcb. I connected teh tag at the cu end to earth.

Its buried below the soil in the sand. The building Control guy when he came said it was fine as it was around half a metre. He said about getting some route tape to put down but said it was really overkill but my mate who got me the swa got me some tape so belt and braces etc.

There is blue, red and yellow.
I was going to use yellow for earth
blue as neutral
and red with brown sleeving as live.

Whats the rules regarding this?

red as live
yellow sleeved g/y as earth

after harmonization it became

red sleeved brown as live
yellow sleeved g/y as earth
