Hi guys

Got a couple of blown double glazing panes with condensation inside them.

Dimensions are 1150x450mm but what size glass do I need? - going to order online but do I need 3/4/6mm panes and what cavity?

As far as I can work out, the current units seem to be 20mm thick in total, so how does 4mm panes with 12mm cavity sound? Whats standard?

How have you worked out 20mm? You may well be right but they're old windows if they are 20mm, probably 1980's, 24mm became the norm in the 90's but now 99% are 28mm, but yes 20mm = 4/12/4

28mm - I took the pane out.

So is that still 4mm glass and thus a 20mm cavity? Whats the benefit (if any) of going 6mm panes?

Also, can i triple glaze into that 28mm space instead?

Triple glazing is pretty pointless if under 44mm.
6mm pretty pointless unless you trying to improve noise reduction (different thicknesses of glass reduce sound waves) although laminated would be better.
If your looking to upgrade make sure to ask for warm edge spacers and low E glass. Maybe laminated glass for security

6mm is only necessary on really big panes. I have a 1.8 x 1.4m pane in 4mm, and when you press on it the centre moves. Strong wind has the same effect which can be a little worrying at first!!
