WHat sort of extractor hood?

...might fit in this kitchen over the oven. They're 6" / 150mm tiles, for scale.
I can drill the 100mm x 1m hole out through the wall to the left ok, it's the machinery bit I'm asking about. WHat would go in there best, (with some chopping of the wall?)
It's an old chimney of course.

Because your range is green and black and the tiles are green too, not friend of the colour green :evil:
I'd be looking at black one but stainless may work, you'll find that the holes are normaly 150mm but you can put filters in, so no need to hole and extract out.
Something like this might work, but it's very much personal choice, if it was me the range would go as would the tiles.

but shop around for the prices. You'll find the woman of the house, if there is one and your not a she will have the last word on it.
 
Just get a posh looking wall vent and use a ducted fan placed elsewhere, or a wall fan, on the external wall. No need to change the look of what you already have.
