I thought it was fibreglass but I've heard there's another type which is more modern and less harmful. The house was built in 1991 and the insulation in the loft is like yellowy/white fluffy wool but doesn't seem to irritate my hands or leave tiny glass type splinters if I touch it.
Can someone tell me what it's likely to be and if I can leave it be and just put my loft boards over it?
