Hi everyone,

I'm trying to replace the sink in my bathroom and came across this pipe connection, see photo. What sort of connection is this? I'm trying to replace the flexible hose with a longer one, but have only found the type with nuts at both ends. Where could I get flexi-hoses with these connection? And are they DIY-friendly?

Thank you.

As per Stivino above, a pushfit coupling and a pushfit flexible tap connector with a small piece of copper in between.

@SandyLyon @Stivino Thanks guys, you guys are brilliant. Just one question, why do we need the pushing couple (yellow)? Can't the pushfit tap connector (grey) connect directly onto the pipe?

Providing the flexible hose is long enough you can do away with the coupling, also you can get the flexible tap connectors with a built in isolation valve.
Makes things easier if you need to isolate the tap for any reason.

What kind of basin taps/tap will you have? You may find that the tap needs a specific type/size.
