Hi. I need to buy a 3 gang light switch for my porch that needs to do the following:-

1 - switch an outside light

2 - switch a porch light

3 - switch a hall light which has another 2 switches at both ends of the hall

I assumed I needed a 3 gang 3way switch but I have searched the web and it appears there isn't such a thing. So that I don't look a fool at the electrical suppliers I was hoping you guys could kindly tell me what to ask for - thanks -

Are you replacing an existing one? If you ask for a 3 gang switch you should end up with a 3 gang 2 way switch. Can you just pop the switch forward (after turning off the supply) and tell us what wires are in there for the hall light? Can you post a piccy? I can't see them using a grid intermediate switch for it but you never know!

no its a new one for a new porch. also new lights in the hall, so they will be all newly wired.

3 gang 2 way it is then
(you will also need a 1 gang 2 way for the other hall switch)
