My CH system is 10mm & after having a new boiler and TRVs fitted we need to change the old rads but are unable to do it all in one go due to being skint I would like to be able to isolate each radiator individually, the question is how?
We're changing some of the old copper pipe to plastic at the same time and I was wondering if there's anything I can do other than using 15mm valves with reducers.
The upper floors have 4 rads served by 2 22mm x 4 copper manifolds and I thought about fitting valves in the 22mm so at least I could isolate 2 rads at a time rather than drain the whole lot each time. Is that a good idea? or is there a better option?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Use full bore valves not service valves (the ones with the screwdriver slot in them will reduce the flow)

Full bore isolating valves have a screwdriver slot, generally.
Do you mean use full bore lever ball valves?
