My CH system is 10mm & after having a new boiler and TRVs fitted we need to change the old rads but are unable to do it all in one go due to being skint I would like to be able to isolate each radiator individually, the question is how?
We're changing some of the old copper pipe to plastic at the same time and I was wondering if there's anything I can do other than using 15mm valves with reducers.
The upper floors have 4 rads served by 2 22mm x 4 copper manifolds and I thought about fitting valves in the 22mm so at least I could isolate 2 rads at a time rather than drain the whole lot each time. Is that a good idea? or is there a better option?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
