What to do about this basin waste?

Well, for a start it only has to be 32mm waste pipe for a basin.

40mm if over 1.2m
This one's 2.5m

I have a similar problem with running the waste away from the sink in my new cloakroom. I have however seen a WC connector that has a waste inlet at the top.

Thanks for that deanalijamie, it would have helped if I hadn't already gone and moved the old waste. Good idea that, would have saved the exterior wall from another hole.
