Dear all,

We are currently planning to have the following work done: 1. new boiler and radiators (remove water tank), 2. ceiling/wall skimming, 3. chimney lining and wood stove fitting, 5. spot lights as well as 6. painting of walls.
Now my question (which might be obvious to a lot of you but not to me): What order should this be done in? I know that painting of walls comes last but that's about it

Thank you

Rough order might be:
Strip all wall & ceiling paper and any blown plaster.
Plumber to install the boiler, and all pipe runs to and from rads.
Plumber can sort the domestic side water installation, & any other pipe arrangements.
Heads up with a HETAS ref the burner.
Open up the chimney breast to wood burner Mfr's Inst's and dimensions.
Sweep the flue.
Drop the SS liner down the flue. Stack terminal to be checked.
Burner can be fixed in place now or dry fixed and removed until further work is complete.
First fix electrics.
Make good to plasterwork and skim over.
Paint & decorate.
Final fix electrics and rads.
