We are about to move into a property which has a couple of rooms which have cork floor tiles which we'd like to do something with.

Can they be painted, used as the base for wood/laminate flooring as reading other posts on cork tiles, I'm not looking forward to removing them.

Thanks

Steve B.

if you paint them water the first coat of paint down as they,ll be very absorbant.
if they,re sound there,s no reason you can,t use them as a base for other coverings.
