Before I lay my 100mm MOT compacted hardcore for patio base what do I need to do with these? (If anything)

1. Red string line is top of hardcore once compacted

There is a big concrete slab of some sort (connected to old drain which is to the top right of it - 1 o’clock position)

The hardcore will obviously be sitting on top of this slab - is that okay or so I need to smash the concrete/brick up so the hardcore can compact into something?

3. I’ve dug a small channel for my armoured cable (supplying log cabin) to sit in before laying hardcore.

Can I lay compacted hardcore directly onto this cable or do I need to cover with a bit of soil first?

It doesn't look like its going anywhere so will be a kind of firm sub base layer.

I opted to take it out … it was covering the old clay pipe so I just blocked it up with soil/stones and I’ll just compact it all down before compacting the hardcore on

You should mark the cable with hazard tape after laying a trough of sand down for it to lay in and covering it with a few inches or more to give it a little protection and a warning in future for anybody digging years down the line.

The cable needs to be much deeper than that, min 450mm but 600 is wiser. If you don't want to dig that deep then it would be safer clipping it to the fence.

A trenching spade would make it easier, and of course the tape as mentioned.
