what type of fire alarm do i need to fit?

hi all,

which type of fire alarm do i need to install in a three storey hmo? its part new build part existing divided into 6 flats.

there are no specs on the drawing refering to grades or L numbers.

im assuming a standard mains with battery back up and interconnect system within each flat. smoke detectors in the hallways and heat detectors in the kitchens.

as for the common parts, do i have to use a fire alarm panel? iv seen aico do break glass points and test/hush/locate switches.
has anyone used these?

Best ask building control whgat they want, get it wrong and they wont pass it, get it right everyone happy

building control and the local fire officer were first on my list to ring tommorrow! thought id run it past you guys first.
