hello see the picture - my builder suggest this to insulate the inside of the very cold external walls in my flat. to be dot and dabbed to the existing brickwork

can anyone advise on what kind of board this is. It is 27mm thick overall with about 9mm for the board bit.

i am thinking it is 'gyproc basic' or 'gyproc thermaline plus'

if anyone can identify the board i'd be grateful.

regards

I would also add that it shouldn't really be dot and dabbed onto an external wall, I would mechanically fix it to battens.

why do lafarge make adhesive for that particuliar job then victorian?

Or did you have a few boards fall off in the past when some people were using the incorrect adhesive?

exterior facing walls are the ones which usaully need the insulation its not likely to be needed internally for stud walls
