What type of junction box to get rid of pull switch

Hi

Bedroom has a normal wall switch and a pull cord switch operating the one ceiling lightbulb.

I'm getting the ceiling re-plastered so want rid of the pull switch.

At the moment the wire goes into the pull switch then onto the bulb.

What type of junction box do I need to use to keep in line with the regulations?

A regular round junction box such as this one will be fine, assuming you have access to above the ceiling in order to fit it:

If the bedroom has an accessible loft above it then any standard and properly rated junction box can be used. It just must be accessible.
