ah my first sports car as a young blade...
Lancia Beta coupe , twin cam 2.0 fiat engine , twin choke webbers , popping on the overun..raspy exhaust and a chassis you could four wheel drift , oversteer in a fwd...lol if only I hadn't smacked it into that bridge and written it off...

I ran a check on my Fiat 131sport last year, SDV458X, it's still out there, why did i let it go? Was it the Audi quatro that burnt me off down round Severn Beech or was it the rust was getting to much for me to maintain.

In its day (late 70s) the Fiat 131 was the top rallye car, then they did a model for the road, the 131sport, 2lt engine in a chassis that didn't roll or tilt as you powered through bends, it was similar handling to a go-cart.

Lol the 131 mirofiori , I used to lust over the 132 with its velour seats. The 131 was rallied fairly successfully.
When I had my beta coupe I used to go to the garage and drool over the 037 in the showroom... last two wheel drive car to hold the world rally crown a real homologation special totally impractical spaceframe race lash up but I wanted one..

yes mine was identicle, Fiat racing red

1981, MotoGuzzi MkII Lemans in Fire Engine Red.... Most uncomfortable seat in Christendom. Rode it all the way to Mandello Del Lario, and the bl88dy factory was shut for August.
Next owner put it through a brick wall. He was not hurt, the bike burst into flames....
