I know i've seen masterseals used where they IMO aren't nessacery.

For example PCB wet processing at our university was refitted recently after a fire. They rewired the place in masterseal RCD sockets fed by pyro. While there are liquids around they aren't getting sloshed arround everywhere or anything like that.

It is in a dairy adjacent a parlour.

They milk, tank, pasturise, (harmoginise depending on type), and bottle milk.

They also produce yogurt, cream, clotted cream etc.

They jet down the rooms, the rooms become very humid depending on which process if being done.

No jets are directed at the walls, but everything does need to be IP rated accordingly depending on the location.
