My kitchen is an old extension which needs the existing concrete floor replacing. What would be best DPM on a bed of sand directly under the screed (40mm sand/cement semi dry) or a DPM coating applied in two coats on the surface of the screed.

As I said on your other posting you need a minimum 50mm and preferably a75mm screed if it is un bonded to prevent cracking.
