Boiler is making noise. I've managed to record it in action. At it's worst I can hear really loud gurgling even from the 2nd floor.

I can also hear water running in the pipes and radiators, although when trying to bleed no air comes out and no cold spots either. Pressure looks ok too.

We're getting heat to the house fine, but the sounds are very ominous and scary.

We recently had someone around to drain part of the system.

Any ideas?

Sounds like the pump is drawing air through it, was the pump bled and is the auto air vent open? What make/model of boiler?

That seems to make sense, it certainly sounds like there is air in the system but strange that nothing comes out upon bleeding.
The boiler is a Baxi Megaflo 28 system boiler, not sure if the engineer bled the pump or if it has an auto vent?

The initial job was to carry out a switch of the flow/return to my UFH which serves 1 room on the 1st floor. Presumably the 1st and 2nd floors would have been drained. After the job I found that the UFH pump was also making these disturbing noises but that cleared up after about an hour - clearly the pump had auto vented the air out.

Pressure is fine and getting heat throughout, just the noise is the issue...
