I had my mid-position valve replaced in the summer. Since then I have had occasional strange noises coming from the heating system.
A loud bang
If sitting in the living room, it sounds as if it is from the boiler in the kitchen. But my wife thinks it is coming from the loft.
Gurgling in the HW cylinder
When the boiler is on, I can hear gurgling coming from the HW cylinder and from the pipes around the mid-position valve in the airing cupboard.
What is causing these noises?
