Whats the crack with the toilet?

Hi all.

Do toilets run on a trickle valve? ive refitted my old toilet whilst i renovate my bathroom, however now its just filling up very slowly!!!

Can anyone tell me how to speed it up a little? or is the trickle standard?

take the ball valve apart and clean out the sediment

also check the service valve is fully open. If it is fed from a tank verify that it does not have a high-pressure restrictor

You can buy a new ball valve for just a few pounds anyway. Often you can keep the old stem and just swap the working parts by uindoing the big nut.

You might consider getting a Torbeck which is a very quiet and small valve that does not have the big round float.
