Hi, as title, I have two functional wheelbarrow frames with leaky steel bowls, are the plastic replacement liners for ~£20 worth fitting to one of them, or should I bite the bullet and replace with a new one? also any thoughts about which makes to look out for or makes to avoid?

If the barrow skip is knackered, maybe the tubular frame isn’t far behind it.....however, if it is sound then a plastic replacement skip is a good enough move - not for concrete maybe but certainly for garden stuff.
I go for the solid rubber tyre (not with the steel rim though).....goes up steps reasonably well and doesn’t puncture.

The tubural frame still seems to have plenty of life, but I will need to use the barrow to mix up in total about a jumbo bag of sand + cement, then mostly on to garden waste moving around garden, would a plastic one survive that? and would some large diameter thick steel washers both sides of the holes help to spread the load on the plastic bit?

Large washers either side of the plastic would be a great idea.....I would imagine the skip would handle the concrete load with care.
John :)
