when fitting a new toilet?

Is it ok to fit a pan connector to the toilet that has a 32mm pipe adaptor so i can run my wash basin waste water to it aswell?
I know they sell them as such but this is my 1st go at anything like this so im trying to be as organsed and careful as possible.
If i havent described it very well please say and ill reword...my previous post wasnt answered.So in feeling left out.
