Hi,
The age of the Yuasa battery in our Galaxy G2-12 is unknown (we haven't changed it in the 4.5 years we've had the house). It's not showing any faults, and powers the system no problem when I temporarily remove the mains supply. How long do Yuasa's last? - is there any way I can check it other than testing that it holds a decent voltage? Or should I replace it anyway?
Thanks :)

Just replace it , rule of thumb every 5 years , battery tester £150 , cheaper to change every 5 years ! Hope this helps

Agreed, 5 yrs is pretty good. In a hot cupboard, sometimes requires replacement in 3. The Galaxy panel also automatically load tests the battery once every 24hrs.

New Yuasa installed today. That's another worry off the list for 5-6 years.
Thanks again :)
