When you drill a hole through an outside wall . . .

. . . to run a cable through, what's that 'putty' stuff people use (I guess to seal up the gap to stop water coming in)?

you seal baths and sinks with it...

comes in lots of colours..

even browm for around wooden window frames..

Lovely. Then you will also have learnt how to drill from the inside, and blow the face off one, two or three bricks, and then gob the massive hole and chipped bricks up with clear silicone to leave an awfull mess

Tip, turn hammer action off for the last inch of drilling, reduces the risk of unsightly "blow out" at 'tother end.

Drill a smaller pilot hole through your wall and then drill from both the inside and outside with the larger diameter drill to avoid popped bricks.
