..is the anything you can screw into the valves to stop them dribbling like a 'stop end'? Cheers.

1/2" or 3/4" cap depending on what rad valves you have

We've had some guys it doing a conservatory, they took our old radiator off the wall, They haven't put anything on the end of the pipe, There was no leakage from it at the time, but now several hours on its suddenly started dripping very heavily. Is there anything I can do to stem the flow until I can get a plummer out in the morning? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Its just been left as was, there's no valve on the end of it. And I have no way of getting one tonight! there is a radiator valve on it, but there's no stop end, and the valve doesn't seem to want to shut off completely. What I can't understand is why it didn't leak to begin with and is really going for it now. IS there anything I can use to stop it before I can get to the shops?

So just an open ended pipe no fittings at all? Carve a cork out and bung it up and wrap it in tape if there is no fitting at the end of the pipe.

That's a brilliant idea, thank you!! And i'm fairly sure it mean's I get a drink out of it! Thank you so much for your help!

a TRV valve? It basically looks like a pipe, with a twist on off valve sort of sticking out the top on it and then the end that just looks like a screw end with nothing on it, which is where the water is coming from. Thats about as well as i can describe it i'm afraid, plumming isn't really my forte.

No it won't tighten anymore, but as I said, it only started leaking a little while ago, didn't for hours after they took it off, will bung it up as best I can, and hope for the best! Thanks for your help guys! much appreciated!
