Where can I buy a loft ladder pole hook from?

The previous owners stripped the house virtually bare and took the loft ladder hook but, thankfully, didn't unscrew the loft ladder.

I now need a loft ladder pole hook. Does anyone know where I can buy such a hook from?

Or a broom handle and put a large screw eye in the end and open up slightly.

You can buy a loft ladders pole hooks from Pryde & Sons Ltd. There are branches in Ayrshire, Glasgow and Edinburgh. They cost about 5 or 6 pounds.
