Johnsons floor laquer (on thermoplastic tiles) recommend it for removing the laquer. I tried Wilkinson.

I don't think there are. I will search around.
My dad's a Jeweller and he uses an amonia solution in his ultrasonic cleaner - he gets his from the local chemist.

Didnt have it at B&Q but got it at small DIY shop, he said "we keep it out the back becauase of the Crackheads!".

should of mentioned that neat ammonia in gallon Quantities, are logged by the police now as its a main ingredient for making very high explosives
