Am taking a woodburner out for a friend of the family cause it isn't exactly ideal with a toddler around and they just want me to cap the bottom of the flue as they might put a stove back in at a later date. I think they may put an electric faux stove in its place.
I was going to put some insulation in the bottom 24" of flue and then put a cap on to tidy it up but is this something you can buy off the shelf?
Not sure of the diameter just yet as need to pop round but I would of thought this is a fairly common thing to do
