Yeah I can see your point, but when you know exactly what you want it makes no differance.
I'm a photographer and I buy all my kit from a dealer online who has the cheapest price, I research my equipment first so I never have to ask for advice.
Also I've had Sh###y service from companies charging high prices.
In that case, you've answered your own question.
You keep your fingers crossed and hope things will be ok. If they are, you go back to the same supplier. If they don't go well, you find somebody else.
My saying a supplier is good will not help if things go badly, but I think it's quite likely you could get problems. If you're clever enough, you then work out how you can get the problem sorted.
(Thumping tables rarely works, though I might be cross as two sticks)
