I've not had any heating on since last January - yet the house is still a warm 12 degrees - but just 2 degrees outside.

So why is it so warm inside?

Your home must be well insulated, add to this the heat generated by yourself, and other numerous electrical items, it soon maintains a reasonable level, incandescent lighting makes a good contribution.

It's not though - it's a Victorian house with solid walls.

And low energy bulbs.

Is your house in the middle of a terrace of houses? if so the houses either side will be helping.

No. It's just the same when you go to any empty house - even one that's been empty for years. I went into an Anderson shelter once - it's nearly always the same temperature - summer or winter according to the owner. And coal mines are warm too.

You have the internet. Who needs them crap channels these days with there fake porn.

It's not been 12 degrees out there for weeks. And why is it the same heat all over the house? (3 floors).
