Where does Winnie the.. go?

Thanks for you thoughts on this. Does anyone know how much condensate a boiler produces over a given time frame?

1lt gas 1lt water.

and we've had acid rain for years ;)

right teams, fingers on buttons,

your starter for ten...

define Mesophilic digestion

Mesophilic digestion is the most commonly used process for anaerobic digestion, in particular waste sludge treatment. Decomposition of the volatile suspended solids (VSS) is around 40% over a retention time of 15 to 40 days at a temperature of 30 to 40oC, which requires larger digestion tanks.

It is usually more robust than the thermophilic process, but the biogas production tends to be less, and additional sanitisation is usually required.

well up to a 70% concentration

and what do you imagine we use it for?

now, to show my complete and utter ignorance - do we burn it for electricity or add it to gas supplies?

initially we use oil to fire dual fuel burners, get the digester to 35c
gas is produced.
once up and running we tranfer to CHPs
gas engines.
the cooling water then goes to heat the sludge and power is sold back to the grid, win win,

the resultant humas is a high grade fertizer ;)

and the acid in the condensate is neutralised and so my fears are resolved?

Now, since this is my thread, I am at liberty to do with it as I will.

Did anyone see "A Question of Sport" the other week? I managed to get zero questions right.

Where were the questions on Art, History, Literature, Politics, Science and Maths, Building regs and WRAS? Hardly a balanced quiz at all!!!
