I remember being 'wowed' by the fact he adapted a stairlift for his dog, the first 30 posts I thought were a little tedious, but then with the numerous following posts I found myself thinking 'what a guy' and looking forward to the next instalment.
He loved that dog dearly.
His 'romantic' liasons with women on the internet were also entertaining, Avril being the latest, I think she came after the Thai woman, looking for a caring partner but being emphatic about how they had to 'pay their own way'.
