Hopfuly I will get more responses for this than my last post
Looking to do solid or engineered floorboards for our loft conversion (about 25msq approx)
I was thinking of pine(redwood) flooring or maybe oak if the budget will stretch. It has to be T&G ex 25mm board for building regs apprently as it needs 30mins protection to the room below.
There seems to be a myriad of places where I could source these, particularly with t'intenet. Is the stuff from B&Q or Wickes any good or can anyone advise anywhere/website...
The 'helping hands' we have had also said something about putting chipboard down then foam and then floorboards on top but can't for the life of me see why I shouldn't just fix direct to the new floor joists we have put in?
Cheers
