Where To Buy More Memory For Acer Desktop PC?

OK, thanks. Last question;

Presuming that my computer isn't dual channel and doesn't require matching memory chip pairs, would I get a similar increase in performance by keeping my 256mb chip and adding a 1 gb in the vacant slot, as opposed to putting in a pair of new 512mb chips?

To be honest I am not sure.

Optimising ram is far from straight forward- I believe that there are as many as 30 variables to consider- thats why I normally phone mr memory
