where to buy stair components

I have a staircase that is ok but the posts and handrails look like they eminate from the 70s ie posts are chamfered on top with some strait planks from post to post. I would like to remove these and buy the components ie 4 posts and top and bottom rails with the smaller posts in between.

I have seen them in Wickes but where else might I get a good deal as I think the diy stores might be over priced.
