Where to finish laminate flooring in the doorway ?

Hi all,

I am about to put down laminate flooring. In the doorway, where does the laminate stop, under the bottom edge of the door for example? The laminate will will eventually abut carpet in the future.

That's where I put it , anywhere else and I think it looks odd when the door is closed

any profile should sit directly under the door so it does'nt protrude either side when the door is shut. Line up your profile, mark it's position and fit the floor allowing for the expansion gap under the profile, then fit profile.
