I need to paint concrete outside our house at the back.
Each year, I keep putting off! And then summer goes!

Some of the concrete had a self leveling layer put on.
The builders told me to paint, else will get dangerously slippery when wet (which it does).

So the paint needs to be very coarse in feel and touch.

I can't find anything suitable in screwfix.
I only find on ebay.

Any suggestions?

I asked before, but can't find the thread.

Thanks.

Thanks for the replies guys.
I didn't get a chance to reply until now.

PROBLEM: anti slip paint for concrete is super expensive!!

I would be happy to add sand to ordinary paint - but as I understand it... I want just use any old paint?

Would these paints be any good:

https://www.screwfix.com/p/sandtex-smooth-masonry-paint-vermont-grey-5ltr/101jf

One says it's smooth - but guess the sand will make it non slip:
But... these paints are meant for walking on. So... guessing the paint will wear out over a short time?

The best option I have found is this one:
https://www.screwfix.com/p/leyland-trade-anti-slip-floor-paint-slate-5ltr/9387j

This is much cheaper than options a google search gives me.

Thanks.

In the commercial paint they sometimes add silicon carbide grit

you could always mix a fine slurry of floor tile adhesive and roll it on to to the concrete, and then paint that.

Edit- that said, regular masonry paints are not designed to be used on concrete floors.
