where wall tiles meet floor tiles?

Hello

I am tiling the floor and walls of my bathroom. I will be tiling the floor first then the walls.

I have seen some nice look plastic strip that gives a neat finish for when kitchen tiles meet the work top ... is it ok to use where the wall tiles meet the floor tiles?

If not, I will need to leave a gap of about 2mil (is that about right?) then fill it with some silicone
