thanks guys for the suggestions. if i cannot get the aritech sounder would the flashguard xl be a good sounder to buy? is the xl loud?. the masterblaster is a bit beyond my budget thanks.

with regards to the texecom oddysey sounder failure, assuming the pcb is not at fault. surely its just a case of replacing the piezo elements rather than replacing the whole unit.
