Along time ago I posted on here about my Vokera combi boiler only firing up the hot water when the central heating was on. I put up with this all Winter as I was using the heating anyway, but now it is warmer I got British Gas round again, but although it works temporarily when they are there, it always stops working again a couple of hours later. So as the boiler is 14 years old I am going to get a new one. The BG engineers always tell me the new condensing boilers break down alot, so I wondered if anyone could advise which one I should get for a small one bedroomed flat that will be reliable. So far one fitter has advised me to get a Vaillant 824 Eco and I will need 3 thermostats as well, since these are now compulsory. Thank you Carrie
