I recently replaced a damaged door bar that sits between my kitchen and hallway - both laminate floors. When I took the old one off I had to clear the 'channel' out between the two pieces of floor as it was full of dust/old, hard, light brown looking glue etc.
I have got the new 'ramp' door bar in there (as one floor is slightly higher than the other) and what I want to know is, which type of adhesive I should use to stick it down permanently.

Thanks in advance.

That kind of glue

It should not really be glued down but it sounds like a mastic glue was used last time. Code name ' F32 ' in the trade of floor layers. Or Grip fill. If you decide to glue again you must make sure it dont stick to the laminate!
