Hello,

I'm looking to install an hive thermostat in my mum's house, but I'm unsure what one I would need.

I want to be able too control it via Alexa and even when not within the house. Some come with smart hub and others don't.

Any advice would be appreciated. I've attached photos of the current setup.

Thanks,
Paul

You’ll also need a smart hub if you want to control it remotely. You can add smart bulbs and sockets etc to the hub and control them through Alexa or remotely too. I prefer the standard hive (single channel if you have a combi).

This is how the old receiver is wired up at the
moment, can I write the hive V4 receive up same way or does it need setting up different?

Thanks,
Paul

It's the cable from the boiler RT, l,n going from there into the hive receiver

From a YouTube video which looks like same boiler, they have 2 in 3 and loop from live to 1

Read the instructions mate
I have but I don't understand. I brought it for my mum because she is blind and it's helpful for her to control things through Alexa. The cable is from the previous receive so I didn't connect up the RT etc within the boiler.
