i personaly would go for the names you know [bosch or ryobi]
although i dont have a mains ryobi jigsaw i would still suggest the ryobi

i am assuming your not expecting your jigsaw to give you an accurate dead strait cut!!!!!
they will of course give you a reasonable strait edge for covered cut outs
 
circular saw cutting from front to back upside down with the blade poking through 1 tooth/3mm

both halves fully supported to keep them level as the blade cuts the back edge to avoid surface breakout
